Malt Pavlova
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 255g sugar
- 1 tsp MALTEXO ORIGINAL
- 1 dsp boiling water
- Pinch salt
Method:
Beat warmed egg whites with pinch salt until fairly stiff. Add warmed sugar and beat well, adding the melted MALTEXO ORIGINAL in the boiling water as it becomes thick and beat a little longer. Bake 130° C for 1 ½ hours. When cold pile on whipped cream.
When used as a cake, pile on whipped cream with 1 tsp MALTEXO ORIGINAL as flavouring and sprinkle on chopped walnuts.
