Malt Caramel Square
Ingredients
- 85g butter
- 85g sugar
- 285g flour
- 55g walnuts
- 2tbsp MALTEXO ORIGINAL
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
Method:
Cream butter and sugar with MALTEXO ORIGINAL. Add sifted dry ingredients, fruit and nuts. Mix, with milk, to a fairly moist consistency. Pour into a greased and lined slice tin.
Bake at 180° C for 30 minutes. Ice when cold. Cut into squares to serve.
