Malt and Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 225g butter
  • 170g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp MALTEXO ORIGINAL
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 255g flour
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Rind of 1 orange
  • Juice of ½ orange

Method:

Cream butter, sugar, grated rind and MALTEXO ORIGINAL. Add eggs one at a time, then sifted flour with rising, orange juice and nuts.

Bake at 190° C for 45 minutes or 1 hour. Garnish with candied orange peel.
